Delhi, ON - Mike Kloepfer, President and head of trailer design, recently announced at the Recycling & Waste Management Show in Birmingham, England, that Titan Trailers had forged an agreement with Geoff Colledge of Colledge Trailers Limited in Middlesbrough, England. Colledge Trailers will provide UK customers with after-sales service and support for their Titan Trailers equipped with KEITH® WALKING FLOOR® unloader systems and tipper trailers.
“We were very impressed with their capability and feel that they have what it takes to be a part of the Titan Trailer family in terms of providing service to our customers,” said Kloepfer. “They, like us, are a family owned and operated business and understand our expectations on how important they are to the overall customer experience. Over here, they are Titan Service”, continued Kloepfer.
Geoff Colledge indicated that he was first introduced to Titan through one of their leaflets and from there began doing his homework on their website. “I had heard good things about Titan Trailers, but when I started to do the research, I liked everything I read right down to the Kloepfer’s business philosophy and Mike’s approach to designing and building trailers. I followed up with a number of emails back and forth to Mike and Sandy Kloepfer,” continued Colledge, “and decided to make the trip to Canada to offer the services of our new facility.”
Geoff feels that his background and knowledge of the trailer industry will be an addition to Titan Trailers’ team in the UK. “We are pleased to be part of this organization and look forward to working with them for a long time,” reported Colledge.
“After a visit to their new facility, we feel that Colledge Trailers is geared to our business. Their 2.5 acre site with secure parking (including CCTV) on a major thoroughfare has 2 overhead cranes, 2 inspection pits and a specially constructed safety platform to service and repair trailer roofs,” said Kloepfer. “But, even more important than their facility is their attitude and approach to looking after the Titan customer.
We also really appreciate the investment they made in coming to Canada and showing us their capability. This is the attitude we look for in someone joining Team Titan.”
