The THINWALL™ extruded aluminum panel introduced North America to a whole new way of designing trailers. Titan trailer designers developed THINWALL to meet an engineering challenge issued by a customer: to create a smooth-sided box that would save weight on a live-floor trailer, yet hold heavy loads without bowing.

What goes into a THINWALL?
For low weight, it has to be all aluminum. Traditional upright panels are easier to assemble, but horizontal panels achieve strength and stability like the beams of a bridge or the walls of a log cabin. They also eliminate seams at stress points on multi-axle rigs. The internal design of the actual extrusion was tested and refined over a period of years. Finally, we created a unique system for assembling the panels efficiently and patented the original THINWALL process in 1999.

The THINWALL advantage
Titan live-floor trailers, belly dumps and rear dumps all earn fuel savings of up to 15% compared to post & panel trailers. They provide up to 10% more cubic capacity and have exceptional load-carrying strength. No matter what you put inside, the outside always looks clean and well maintained. Your business moves up to a whole new level, all because of the THINWALL panel – the original all-aluminum smoothside panel from Titan.

If it doesn't say TITAN, it can't say THINWALL™!
